Maintenance
As we only supply quality hardware from manufacturers such as hp we encourage our customers to have manufacturer backed support on all of their business critical hardware. However, we are aware that this is not always available and therefore also offer our own maintenance cover for our client’s computer systems, supported by our own team of trained engineers.
Our maintenance contracts cover the FULL cost of both parts and labour to repair the faulty item, or the installation of a replacement product if necessary. In addition all hardware contracts include an annual preventative maintenance ‘clean-up’ visit.
If appropriate, equipment can be repaired by Andrews Computer Services Ltd at our fully equipped workshop at a reduced ‘workshop’ rate.
Response Times
Standard support – 8 hour response, next business day:
From your call for help being logged by our support technicians to having a trained engineer on site, with parts if necessary. Suitable for most business computer systems.
Enhanced support – 4 hour response, same working day:
More expensive than the standard support, the rapid 4 hour response time is ideal for business critical systems, such as servers.
Prices
The price of the contract is quoted after a site survey to establish the type, number of machines and age of equipment to be covered and the level of support required.
For non-contract customers maintenance can be provided on a ‘Pay-as-you-go’ basis. For this service there is a £125 call out charge that includes the first hour of labour and £75 for each subsequent hour, plus parts.
The first hour labour charge is reduced to £75 for clients located in Hemel Hempstead and Apsley
For work done in our workshop we offer a reduced ‘workshop’ rate of £50 per hour labour, plus parts.
Travel to locations more than one hour from our Hemel Hempstead offices will be charged at 40 pence per mile.
All prices plus VAT at the prevailing rate.
