Training

Andrews Computer Services Ltd. offer training on a wide range of software packages, specialising in Sage accountancy, HR and payroll, but also Network Administration and Microsoft Office products, we can also provide training on ODBC links between Sage and Excel or Crystal report writer. We can provide training on other software packages through our affiliate company. This training can be at your premises or classroom based.

Our courses are designed to meet your individual business and delegates needs and are tailored for your organisation’s real world environment. Our courses therefore build the bridge between the software being used and the way your business works.

In addition to training on Sage we also offer on site support for Sage products to carry out the infrequent routines such as loading program updates, running your first VAT return, running your first accounting or payroll year end, and making backup copies of the data before completing the year end. We can also apply post year end journals after your accountant has completed your audit, provide a 'trouble-shooting' service if you have had a power or system failure to repair or recover your data, or simply check over the system to ensure regular "housekeeping" routines are performed. Additionally we can provide general accounts training to help owners or managers to understand basic financial information or restructure your management accounts to provide you with better information. We provide a professional confidential service, either working at your offices or accessing your system via remote dial-in. Andrews Computer Services Ltd. gives you the reassurance that your system is being looked after by experts.

Training can be provided for a number of different types of staff, in the past we have run courses for sales, bookkeeping, warehouse, office administration, including purchasing and credit control staff. We have also run one day courses for IT managers, Company directors, and accountants, from the junior to the managing partner to obtain the best from your IT system. We also provide a payroll year end service, where we reconcile your payments to the Inland Revenue and print your statutory forms, make a copy of the old data and install the new year, applying the tax code changes. This can be provided for both the manual and electronic routines, if requested we can provide the correct stationery for free, and make all the backups you need.

Training can be held at our offices or at your premises, for small groups or one to one sessions.
